A Brief Biography:

I obtained my Psychology B.A. from Duke University, having completed the first years of my undergraduate training at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).

I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (1988), and completed my clinical internship at the Veterans Administration Medical Center at Cincinnati, Ohio. Beginning in 1976, I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient medical and psychiatric units, community mental health centers, child and adolescent clinics, HMO clinics, private practice and as a consultant for family owned businesses. Originally from Los Angeles, I have been living and practicing in San Antonio since 1991.
